Halloween Night 7 - Scorpion Lady

 



Work is proving to be an intense workout but I managed to get this brave lady painted on my coffee break, late last night I got all the line work done._(_ -_ )/  

Hallowee Night 6 - Beetle Lady

 

It's the sixth night and of all the creepy crawlies that I've painted so far, I'd totally be okay with a bulky beetle on my head.

Halloween Night 5 - Mantis Lady

 

 

I don’t really know how I feel about these insects, the mini sized ones seem okay and are adorable but the bigger ones I’m not sure about.

Halloween Night 4 - Frog Lady

 

 

Night 4 and it’s a Frog Lady tonight. 🐸  IDK my lady turned out looking far too much like Dr. Frank-N-Furter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. LOL

Halloween Night 3 - Wasp Lady

It's night 3 of the Halloween painting project and I decided to paint a sharp looking Wasp Lady. These insects are terrifying in real life but I just can't deny that they look so darn cool.

Halloween Night 2 - Raven Lady

Hey guys, it’s the second night and because this project is inspired by last night’s Spider Lady, all 12 illustrations from now on will all be original designs. Tonight is a posh Raven Lady.

Halloween Night 1 - Spider Lady

Tonight's the start of my 13 night countdown to Halloween project!

The first painting is from the Harry Potter book called Moste Potente Potions. I fell in love with the illustration of the spider lady and just had to based my Halloween project around her. Here's some information on the spider lady that I found on Harry Potter Wiki:

      "In the book, there is a picture (Figure VII) of a woman
       with a grotesquely large spider on her head, almost worn like
       an ornament. Whether or not this is an effect of a potion is
       unknown. It is possible that it is the side-effect of
       accidentally imbibing a Polyjuice Potion contaminated by
       spider hairs, similar as to when Hermione was partially
       transfigured into a cat when her Polyjuice Potion was
       contaminated with cat hair. "
